My sister got a tip from a friend about Orson Gygi. It's suppose to be an amazing place to get chocolate. We went to check it out for ourselves.
They actually have two store fronts. One that says, "Store Entrance" and one that says, "Appliances." We went with the store entrance.
They had so much stuff!!! They had isles of chocolate...
candies...
molds...
kitchen gadgets (Kitchen Aid parts!!)...
paper goods...
cupcake tins...
sprinkles, spices, extracts...
party supplies...
cookie cutters and so much more.
It was so much fun! I bought plenty more that I should have, but it was amazing!
Things you need to know...
1. Gygi's is located at 3500 South 300 West in Salt Lake City. It is right off of the 33rd exit on I15.
2. They offer culinary classes that you can find on their website at www.gygi.com .
3. They have everything you can imagine to have fun in the kitchen. Be prepared to buy something because the prices are low.
4. They have shopping carts ect. if you go with kids. (which you totally can) Just steer clear of the glass isle.
5. You'll want to go and look for a while. So plan a little time because you will be entranced!

I'm SO excited to check this place out. It sounds like they probably do, but I'm hoping they have shaped cake pans. Thanks for the tip!!
I have always wanted to go there, but now I need to go!! Thanks for the great pics. Super excited for the Kitchen Aid Stuff.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Orson Gygi and wish so much that we had a source like it here in Denver. They sell those cute striped paper straws there that are hot all over party blogs for around $6 for 144, which is by far the best price I've seen anywhere.
I've heard of it but have never been there. I didn't realize what a selection they had! Thanks for the awesome post and all the photos and info. What a wonderful blog you've started!
Bought the napkins for my wedding from them! Cheap, and perfect colors. Love this store!
Love the place! Just bought a massive $40 bar of chocolate there for all my Christmas treat making needs :)
I love Orson Gygi too. Wish I lived closer.
Why thank you Leca! We're so glad you were happy with us! Please come again!
Never go there for any appliances. They are very hard to work with. They just want to sell equipment and not to consider the safety of the consumer. If you want safe equipment for your home, don't go there! You put your family in risk of death!
