Ruth's Diner Review

We ate at Ruth's Diner up Emigration Canyon.

It is a cozy little place with a lot of character.  It has a classic "diner" type feel to it.
We ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies.
We also got the fish and chips...
 grilled salmon...
 and the meat loaf.
We had dessert and I got the chocolate malt pudding which was a masterpiece.  It didn't sound like anything special, but I'd drive there just for that.  I'd love the recipe.

Their menu has a lot of comfort food. The food was pretty good for dinner, but I hear that breakfast is their true passion.

Things You Need To Know...

1.  It's a bit of a drive and you'll think you're out of the city because it's in the middle of no where.  The exact address is 4160 Emigration Canyon Road Salt Lake City.

2.  The price range was $7-15 a plate for dinner.
